Here is a general outline of what each dumpster can fit:

10 yard dumpster:

  • Has low/removable sides for easier loading

  • 2,000 square feet of drywall or asphalt shingles

  • 600 square feet of concrete or asphalt (6 yards) - consider a 10 yard dumpster

  • 400 square feet of household junk

20 yard dumpster:

  • 4,000 square feet of drywall or asphalt shingles

  • 600 square feet of concrete or asphalt (6 yards) - consider a 10 yard dumpster

Dumpsters cannot be overloaded.

Do not fill above sides of dumpsters or over the weight limit you selected or over 5.5 tons. Just because a dumpster is large, it may not be able to be filled to the top, dependent on the weight of what you are disposing of.

Preparing your site for a dumpster

  • Delivery windows are two hours—we may arrive at anytime within the delivery window.

  • Determine a space on your property with easy access to the road or driveway that is flat, preferably with a hard surface. The dumpster location may not have soft ground and may not be on a hill.

  • The required dropoff zone must be 10'x 50' and be free of overhead obstructions such as electrical wires, tree branches and structures. Once placed, DO NOT re-locate the dumpster; relocation fees will be charged. If you require the dumpster to be moved, please contact us.

  • On pick-up and delivery days, all vehicles, equipment and debris must be cleared from the dropoff zone.

  • DO NOT load the dumpster with objects that extend higher than the dumpster sides or with excessively heavy materials. When overloaded, a dumpster is at risk to damage your property or our equipment and can fall from the truck during transport. We will not pick up an overloaded dumpster ; dry-run fees will be charged if the truck arrives on site and your dumpster is overloaded.
