+ Prepare your site for a Dumpster
Determine a space on your property with easy access to the road or driveway that is flat, preferably with a hard surface. The dumpster location may not have soft ground and may not be on a hill.
The required dropoff zone must be 10'x 50'and be free of overhead obstructions such as electrical wires, tree branches and structures. Once placed, DO NOT re-locate the dumpster; relocation fees will be charged. If you require the dumpster to be moved, please contact us.
On pick-up and delivery days, all vehicles, equipment and debris must be cleared from the dropoff zone.
DO NOT load the dumpster with objects that extend higher than the dumpster sides or with excessively heavy materials. When overloaded, a dumpster is at risk to damage your property or our equipment and can fall from the truck during transport. We will not pick up an overloaded dumpster; dry-run fees will be charged.
+ Determining Weight Allowance
Dumpsters cannot be overloaded. Do not fill above the sides of dumpsters or over the weight limit of 5 tons. That equates to about:
2,000 square feet of drywall or ashpalt shingles
600 square feet of concrete or asphalt (6 yards) - consider a 10 yard dumpster
400 square feet of household junk
16.5’ Long X 4' High X 7' Wide —about the length of the average sedan.
Recommended for:
Smaller commercial worksites
Home and garage cleanouts
Roofing replacement
Residential construction and remodel
Large yard clean ups
Heavy material removal (concrete, asphalt, steel)
Jobs that need to be loaded by hand--10 yard dumpster has removable sides for convenient loading
+ Permitted Waste
Below is a non-inclusive list of allowable waste:
Non-hazardous construction debris— insulation, carpet, linoleum, tile, sheetrock, cinder blocks, plywood, roofing, siding
Wood— treated, non-treated, brush
Bulky household items—furniture, mattresses
Metal
Appliances
